Still, as misguided as purely technocentric approaches to technology integration are, they are not nearly as pervasive and distracting to educators, developers, and researchers as a particular strain of pedagogical dogmatism long embraced and largely unrecognized by many in the international educational technology community. Its time to reconsider this set of pedagogical assumptions, then decide whether we move forward with or without them.
